How long before someone produces a .240 / 6.10mm rifle to avoid the lead ban?

I can't bet my kidneys on it all being this way, but lots of the documents say 'bullet' in reference to the 6.17mm threshold.
So size down and paper patch in a standard barrel, job jobbed.

However I'm not 6mm inclined really, but if I were and wanted similar, I'd get a .25 south of the wall or a .22 north of it. Just easier isn't it.

But .25 is .257!

Lead ain’t banned yet……….even if google and AI say it is🙄
BASC will come out with their gloves on & save the day yet👍
Anyway those wise supreme beings in charge have more to concern themselves with than saving us thicko’s from poisoning ourselves & the planet we live on.
Like where’s all the copper disappeared to? We need it for the super highways to power our electric vehicles😱

In reality most of the utterances that BASC have come out with are a conditional support for the lead ban !

Given the number of new cartridges that fail, developing one in the UK for the UK market is bound to fail.
Especially when you read here and the various Facebook groups...

With people's reluctance to try new things, I'm surprised the majority of deer aren't still shot with a muzzle loader...
