How loud does a Hedgehog scream?

My wife and I were woken at about 3am a week or so back. There was a screeching not dissimilar to a Gull, but dead of night.
It wasn't cats fighting or a vixen calling or a screeching owl.
My only thought is that a badger had got hold of the hog (something I have seen evidence of locally) I had seen a hedgehog on my CCTV a few night previously, and there are definitely badgers around as I found one dead on the verge 3 doors up)
I just can't believe that a hedge pig could be so loud as to wake me.
Any thoughts?

Hi Tricky - i really would imagine it would be the fox - woke me this morning at 3 am - despite having not seen one all night on the moor !!

24 Jul 2022 sure it wasn't a fox. Just found this on YouTube and it's the noise I heard (unfortunately) not sure if link will work though.
