Do you mean as in forestry rangers etc or conditions imposed by firearms licensing? Genuinely curious if the latter as never heard of that.
People who are on forestry leases for example.

Not licensing, I did query the whole lead free thing with my FEO, the answer was simply that they were there to administer the current law, lead free isn't law - yet!

the 2 guys that help me out, have got enough to last 4/5 years, i got wind of shortages a year or two ago from a friend in the gun trade, i called them and they went to their local gun shops and basically cleared them out of everything they needed that makes their rifles shoot, so even if I run out I’ll just go fishing and leave it to them!

So unfortunately you snooze you loose, like i said even if bullets hit £10 around for hunting projectiles for putting meat in the freezer and into the Game Dealer, You’re still covering your ammunition costs so really what’s the problem?

Your going to have to dig deep and make sacrifices to shoot your rifle, We all have to make sacrifices in life to do what we want to do!

But I do genuinely feel sorry for those coming into deer stalking, I certainly wouldn’t want to do it again, too much hassle, too much ball ache!

I’m very fortunate to have done what I’ve done over the last 20 years, I’ve done more and killed more deer than a lot of deerstalkers can even dream of!

All this talk of paying £10 per round and don’t whinge about it is daft…it will give manufacturers carte blanche to increase costs because we said we’d pay!
We should all draw the line at Thruppence a round for factory ammo.

I asked how the Tunnel would get on if lead was banned indoors and was told it won't be if all lead is collected.
I believe the relative buzzwords are 'contained & recovered'.
The vast majority of indoor ranges will already be doing this. Outdoor ranges with backstops will need them digging out and reinstated at specific intervals. Anyone who shoots on MOD ranges will probably be aware that the number of rounds expended is reported to the Range Controller when the detail is completed and when the round count hits a certain number, the backstop will be de-leaded.
Stay calm ... and carry on!
