How to become a stalk-hunter?

Hi, My name is Dennis!


I’m from the Netherlands and have zero hunting experience and zero connections to the hunting life. At the same time I feel a sense, a urge to start hunting especially stalk hunting in wonderful landscapes and provide my family with honest food, but don’t really know where to start. Stumbled on this forum and decided to join so I can talk to people that want to help me figure out how to get there. The do’s and don’ts etc.

Welcome from Essex, not sure how it works in the Netherlands but my first guess would be finding a guide over there to talk to/go out with. You may also need a hunters training qualification potentially all that said best of luck it's a wonderful thing to do

Oo thanks man, this gives a lot of interesting information. I figured that I can start the course to get my hunting license anyhow. This differs from a hunting permit but will get me started and gets me in contact with other like minded people/hunters.
