How to fit a Slip on recoil pad

My ATA SP has a too short LOP. I bought a paychmayer decelorator. When I put this over the gun, it gives me the right LOP, but it isnt on stable.

I've tried degreasing, covering the stock in grip tape etc.

Do I take the current butt pad off the rifle first? Problem is if i do this, then the LOP is only increased by a tiny bit so it's pointless.

I think you got the wrong size.

I have three of them and they fit on just fine. You forget they're there.

There's three sizes of them btw. Aside from the size it might also be an issue if the guns butt pad is highly curved I guess.

I think mine is the medium. Do you put it over the recoil pad that's already on the gun or remove the factory recoil pad?
