How to remove velvet

I have a head that still has about 80% of the velvet still on - it was just starting to strip from the tips.

I’d be very grateful if someone could suggest how to strip the rest off.

I’ve already boiled out the skull - not sure if this was a mistake or not?

Just cut lines in it with a knife and you can pull it off. You may need a pair of pliers for some of the stuff that’s harder to pull. Usually quite easy…..

As above and the jet nozzle on a pressure washer can be a great help.
