looking at converting my howa 243 s/a drop plate into a detachable magazine any recommendations welcome

Raytradeuk are the UK distributer but when I emailed them about these magazines and floor plates they'd never heard of them even though they list them on their website!!??

I think they need a better UK distributer as they are great bits of kit and really well made.

I got mine from Australia, but via a mate.

I was talking by email to the main man Michael yesterday and sounds to me like they are still in the process of setting up distribution for a number of countries including New Zealand. There are half a dozen blokes here that want them but at this stage the only way we can get them is to have them posted to a mate in Aus and then sent on to me.

Drop him a line and ask what’s the go for the UK. He’s a bit odd but be patient.

Atlasworx have a proper alu AICS conversion for Howa 1500. Very little inlet work going from drop plate to Atlasworx.

I got mine from Form Riflestocks. Brilliant, as already said
If you want it for your stalking rifle I would recommend the ambi paddle release.

Yes John, the paddle release is more user friendly especially for a hunting rifle. Atlasworx have the paddle lever as retrofit if one has an older version.
