They used to be so common, I remember them feeding on the Valerian in numbers many years ago. Nice video by the way.

Hummingbird Hawk Moth

Hi Anyone else seeing more than usual Hummingbird Hawk Moth’s this year, I see a couple most years but just lately I’ve been seeing one or two most days. Lovely to see them & fascinating to just stand & watch.

We had several in our garden this summer. Most moths seem to have had a good year. There have been a large number of migrant moths this season, including Convolvulos Hawk Moth and Spurge.
