Hunting on the Continent

I have been hunting in The Netherlands and Germany for more than twenty years. In the Netherlands it is mostly small game like hares, phaesants, geese, ducks and pigeons. Most of these I shoot with a Browning B125 12G shotgun or Browning Heritage 20G shotgun. For geese I use a .223 Rem rifle too.
In Germany I shoot mainly roedeer and wild boar. I have a Blaser R93 with several barrels. My favorite caliber is 7x64 which is appropriate for most kinds of game. .222 Rem is effective for roedeer too, but what to do when a boar comes by. For driven boar I use a .300 Win Mag on the Blaser or my most treasured Browning 9,3x74R o&u.
