I didn't claim it was a group. But with a known load for this rifle, and hitting on the money I see no reason to waste rounds when it's shooting where I want

Bloody good enough for me, why waste the bullets!

Shot the old 1” high for all my stalking years up to now, where bang on at 50 is bang on at 100 with the 7x57 that just means lazy bugger but I am I don’t have to walk 100 yards to punch paper and I can do 50 in the back garden

On at 27m, pretty much ok to 250.
I always find the first crossing point for my rifles as an easy check.
It's a simpler thing to find 25-30m of flat ground when you're in the bush than 200-250
