illum scopes

Agreed!
The drivel jibe could be used at any one on this site, could it not willie? :-D

Did you read all ten pages?

No, I gave up the will to live at around the time people started measuring exit pupils to the nearest 0.01mm :D

In general I find the drivel faeries are getting to be as commonplace as the kit bigots. They really ought to pair up.;)

I have done this before but for the amusement of myself and others please explain!

Maybe for the amusement of the rest of us you might, in view of your opinion that the objective size is of no consequence, care to do your shooting with a scope with no objective at all. That would seem to be the ultimate end point of your conclusions and is certain to provide interesting and useful experimental data.

 sarcasm! How refreshing that is!

How about!

You could take your very expencive scope. Cut it in two down the length. Then you could tell us what you find! But it should be the biggest objective you have!

Tell you what! I will do the same to my Niko and we can compare the internals. Should be interesting! But not very supprising!

I am sure the offspring of a drivel faerie and kit bigot is called a new gen bench rest shooter isn't it? :stir::rofl:

But then most of what I say is drivel. I have no friends! Plus from time to time I get strongly worded " I dislike you" mail in my PM inbox!

Mostly from other drivel faeries and occasional kit bigots.

Now if you wanted to be amused those messages would be Entertaining!

Good job my skin is thicker than the crap I come out with :smug:

Out of all the stuff I have had. The zeiss victory ir mildot 6x24x56 is the best shooting item I have ever got.
superb glass in early morning. Evening and under th lamp.

I like the look through those too. Haven't perchased one yet. But it is on the short list. Where did you get yours!

I got it second-hand off a keeper friend from cornwall. Mine is the older victory though. Not the one with fl glass.
In fact I prefer my model because it comes elevation and windage turrets. Where the newer fl model windage turret is extra from zeiss.

Also the clicks are finer being 0.5 cm at 100 meters. Newer model is 1cm click is which isn't very fine for a long range scope.

I really think zeiss has messed up on this. And also not putting a windage turret as standard on a varmint scope is very silly. I think its around a extra 150 pound for this upgrade. Which on top of a 1800+ pound scope isn't really good service

They are losing touch with shooters not offering that as standard. I see alot of people was mentioning this to them at the shooting show earlier in the year on there stand.
