Importing From Europe

I’ve just had some Rusan adapters delivered from Holland for my Pulsar Krypton.

Got charge the VAT (simple case of 20% of the sterling value of what bought and the postage) plus a £12 handling fee.

Looks like you’ve paid the same, but UPS is a little more expensive for handling.
@andyk @Klenchblaize I’ve ordered 3 Rusan adapters for my Hik Thunder 3 now from Germany, one direct, the other 2 via eBay. No additional charges on any of them and the direct was delivered by DHL 🤷‍♂️

It depends on the value. UK VAT on imports from the EU is only charged for goods above a certain value (can't remember the exact right now). And yes, it's a Brexit thing - before that, shiping to and from the EU was the same as shipping within the UK - quick and seamless.
 
"Consignments valued at £135 or less: The seller in the EU is generally required to charge UK VAT at the point of sale." So no taxes charged by the courier.
