Instant water heater

The heater in my larder has packed up again. I have one of theses small units

It's about the 3rd in 5 years - they just don't seem to last. Anyone recommend something better without moving to a commercial unit

Thanks

I have loads of problems with the above and similar spec'd products and from advice of a commercial electrician bought santon and zip brands, eye watering prices but they work. Not learning quick enough I had four cheaper models before being correctly. They were not fit for purpose. All mine have ten litre reservoirs so can serve a sizeable prepping and hand wash area.

Recently had an Ariston water heater fitted in my larder. Fantastic, 3kw and 15 litre capacity. Got from screwfix and a mate plumbed in. Mains powered, good for money. Heats from cold in 10.ish mins

Fit a small storage type water heater under the sink
This is a pic of the one I have in my larder, it does the hot water for the main sink and the hand wash sink
Heats up in no time, screwfix sell them

I have the same heater as this, it works away very well for occasional use.
If I was going to be using it on a daily basis I would be looking for something with a bit more capacity.

Just plumb a cheap screwfix combo boiler in with a gas cylinder. As much hot water as you need and they can be had for a couple of hundred quid.

Do you ever get up around Sheffield? I have a Heatrae Sadia 15 you can have. Been sat in my garage gathering dust for the last 12 years just waiting for you! Took it out of a University Science Lab that was getting revamped, where it was working fine.

Righto I specifically want an oversink version fed directly with mains water and electric instant heater and have narrowed down to

Stiebel Eltron DHC-e12
Santon 7k Power Pack
Santon Aquarius

Any views on these?
