Hi all,
My name is Harry, I live on a farm in Dorset (around 200 acres) and am looking to get into deer stalking/pest control/general shooting. I currently own zero guns aside from an air rifle, but have shot my dad’s .22lr rimfire and 12 gauge shotgun many times under his supervision.
I have recently applied for my firearms and shotgun certificates and have received the confirmation email but nothing more as of yet. I have always been interested in guns but was somewhat slow in applying for my license (23 now), but fingers crossed it happens soon. I haven’t applied for a gun slot as of yet, but this was mainly because I wasn’t quite sure how it worked and a friend who shoots recommended waiting until I have my license before trying to add the caliber of rifle I wanted.
Any help in regards to licensing/courses that would be beneficial is welcome.
