I started my shooting career in the school .22LR rifle team and with the Lee Enfield .303 in the CCF. Was Northern Universities SLR Champion 2 years in a row with the UOTC.
Lots of military shooting during my Army career, during which I also started game shooting in S England and in Germany (Jagdschein holder).
Joined British Deer Society in 1989 (Services' Branch) and was later SB BDS Secretary and later Training Officer, running DSC 1 courses for MOD Deer Managers.
Now retired and enjoying shooting and reloading (.243 and .308) for stalking and target shooting.
