Hello, this is my first time in this group.
I'm a stalker and use a Browning A Bolt. 308
I shoot woodcock with my 20g all else with the 12g. I'm in Co Meath so have a lot of driving to the West of Ireland in the season's, I'm also a Salmon and Trout fisherman and have been for 65 years, a lot of water under the bridge.
My Browning stock got very sticky and needed cleaning. I found Fizz's post November 8th 2024. Got out the bread soda mixed it 50/50 with water, a good coating then scraped a lot of the muck off followed by a nail brush. 2½ hrs later and I have a new stock.
