Hi forum and thank you for having me.

Based in South Devon and having moved to a very rural location I seem to have something of a rat infestation...and so my journey into air rifles has begun.

Proud owner of a .177 PCP which I have been stunned at the accuracy of the thing. Currently looking at night vision optics as it definitely gets busier during the evening here. Thank you all for any help or advice.

Hello, All depends on Budget and how often will you shoot , Day/Night Both, From a Night Vision Add on to a dedicated Day/Night scope, There are cheap ways or expensive , I prefer a 22 PCP but a 177 can be ok if not wishing to purchase another rifle

Grab a cheap Yukon XT 2nd hand.Flat headed target pellets used to do the do for me at close range they dumped energy well.
Get rechargeable batteries.
