We moved to Lower Portugal 6½ years ago along with my 3 shotguns for partridge and small game, and a 7x65R O/U double rifle for wild boar. All have seen good use. I am now in the process of acquiring a Mauser M03 in 9.3x62 and a 2nd barrel in a calibre as yet to be determined for stalking in other places (eg. Scotland). I joined this forum for advice/knowledge and to keep in touch with the old country and fairly like minded individuals. All the hunting or shooting I do is for food as the end result, NOT just for trophies.
