Hello. Ive frequented this forum for many years now, as I tend to favor metric calibers and European styled rifles, so i figured it was time to join. I reside in the US, Georgia to be exact. I primarily hunt whitetail, hogs, and small game. Most of my hunting is out of tree stands and on the ground with average shots being 50-75 yards tops with 2-300 yards thrown in here and there. The surrounding land scape is Appalachian hills and forest with some farm land here and there. I am beginning to hunt more in the South which consist mostly of pine flats and swamps, thick stuff. Ive owned most cartridges between 22 hornet to 338 wm. I have a tendency to lean toward the more obscure. Currently my rifles consist of 2-22lr, 2- 6.5x55, 1-556 Ar style. Shotguns would be 1-.410 break action, 2-16 gauge break actions. I reload for everything that I can. The 6.5x55 has never let me down with 140 grain pills but I always am looking for something.
