I will shortly be enrolling in a DSC1 course and have joined the site to help supplement my studies as I revise for the tests. I've joined the BDS and have been using their Ultimate Deer Data quizzes as part of that preparation.
I would say that I have very little experience of handling real firearms, though do shoot 10m air rifle. However, I am interested in long term learning to shoot properly and start regularly attending my Shooting Club's range days at Bisley.
My interest in deer stalking is driven by a close friend wishing for us to go stalking for a milestone birthday. We all want to shoot properly and humanely, hence attending the DSC1 course.
I am based in North London, naturally there are little opportunities to become involved in conservation and shooting.

Dont worry about asking stupid questions...the rest of us do it all the time
