Is it just me that hates trying to reverse trailers ?

This thread inspired me to reverse my single axle trailer back Ito where it lives, in a fairly tight gap between the tractor and a roller, rather than taking it off and pushing it as I normally do. Nailed it....ok, nailed it on the third go....

also think it depends what handed you are, people who are right handed tend to be able to reverse trailers easier than someone left handed, something about how left hander brains are wired lol

It's all about the first set up and getting the trailer pointing in the direction it needs to be going before you start reversing. That way you're not trying to play catchup with the trailer. I drive a long wheelbase vw van and a ifor tri axle so to fairly long and have to get it in some very tight spots.

Been reversing trailers since I was about 12, quad trailers certainly get you experience in the art of trailer reversing.
The easiest trailer is the big 12 ton double axle dump trailer for a tractor.
I currently drag a 12ft x 6.6ft plant trailer its a joy to reverse, over steering and too fast are the biggest causes of feck ups.
