Thank you, I was over the moonThat's a beauty well done
Is that at the widest point?Yes, as a rough guide you need around 49Cms in width and length and good symmetry to make medal class.
That one looks very good. Congratulations.
Yeah I’m going to, it’s just getting cleanedgotta be worth a measure, lovely stag
Widest point, I don’t remember if thats just the main beam or total spread. Is that at the widest point?
It’s pretty symmetrical
Thank you![]()
Thank you I will take a lookWidest point, I don’t remember if thats just the main beam or total spread.
The CIC formula for Sika is easy to follow, you can easily rough score it yourself. Symmetry is important because any difference between the 2 antler scores is subtracted from the total.
Use a thin steel tape or a piece of string.Thank you I will take a look
I will have a measure when I get it backAs said, length and symmetry seem to be the key. The one I posted on here a few days ago just dipped silver (on deductions) and was circa 51 and 52cm and pretty symmetrical. Yours looks medalworthy. What a first!!!!
49cm in width would be highly unusual. Anything between 30-40cm is more normal and well within medal class norms.Yes, as a rough guide you need around 49Cms in width and length and good symmetry to make medal class.
That one looks very good. Congratulations.
