Heading over to Dortmund next month to the Jag and hund show . Anyone ever made the trip over . Things to look out for etc .

Been a few times

Pre Covid was fabulous but went two years ago and it appeared half the size

Got the accommodation booked for this year so all depending on getting a reasonable flight

If its back to its best you'll need at least two days to look round

Morning all, I go every year as i have family in Dortmund. Annoyingly there are now no more flights from London including Stansted to Dortmund (to my best knowledge). When my daughter visits me now she has to fly from Munster or Koln.

Regards

Steve

I worked on my pals sFa dog equipment stand for 4-5 years around 2008 onwards as a thanks to him for helping me through my Jagdschein course in 1998-9.
Two days would be my opinion too.
Go more slowly around the halls and enjoy the Veltins beer stand a few times.
The dog breed area is very interesting.

Myself and a group of mates went last year after a ten year absence. We all flew from different countries into Dusseldorf then a easy train ride to Dortmund. Easy travel to the show on the underground. Hope to revisit in a couple of years.

Hotel and flights booked, two days is plenty go during the week if possible, as it's very busy the weekend, also I have not seen any reduction in size over the years.

Great show.
