Anyone know anything about Jadgnicker knives? I saw some in Germany years ago and was told they were a GP outdoor / hunting knife.

I spoke to somone who had tried one and told me it is a specialised tool for humane dispatch and cannot be used for gralloching, as the point is sharpened both sides, so can cut the rumen easily when opening up.

Looking the the Puma website, there is a bewildering variety of hunting knives.

Buy the victorinox bush craft knife, you’ll never need another! @Tim.243

I have an old one without a sheath stamped from Ingolstadt. It is very well worn I found it lying around at our local recycling centre.
Most of my knives came back from the USA with me in 1995 as I had been collecting them while there. The laws have changed here so one in the knife pocket of your pants is it seems frowned on.

They resemble lunch/table knives but are very effective for dispatching wounded quarries. Being a tipical Solingen product are 5a5her well made and with good heating treatment. Worth having one
