These have been out a while. I handled one at Elmia or Camp Villmark a few years ago. Like Shania said, didnt impress me much 🙂There was an accident at a Norwegian range in Trondheim in 2023 after which everything went quiet. From what I have read the shooter had the bolt hit him in the face causing injury. The ammunition and rifle were being sent back to DEVA? (German safety authority)
Gamefair here next weekend, will be interesting to see if they are exhibiting.

German forums were full of the accident. Apparently the cartridge did not fire initially but when opening decided to fire.
I passed the village in Germany where they come from and had a look at the rifle. Quite slim and tidy rifle but I wouldn't want one.

Needless to say that’s not in their catalogue.
If you have a misfire you don’t open a breech next to your face!
Interesting to know what the DEVA concluded?

Which now has me thinking, is there an open source website that records ammunition and firearms safety incidents?

Upon investigation, the person shooting was using homeloaded ammunition and had a hang fire. Upon hearing the dead man’s click they immediately opened the bolt and at that point the round went off. So, it appears to have been a case of user error and poor weapon handling as opposed to an equipment failure. The whole incident was caught on video.
