John March Firearms Closing

Its not good when a gun shop packs in , yet I have never new anything about them . Local Customers are good but its a far bigger pond we swim in today , good internet trading gives us a lot more faster

No list of guns on the website. So in truth unless you are on the doorstep how were you ever to know what was in stock and at what price? I did see this on the man's website and wonder if the price isn't a little over optimistic?

BROWNING B25 B4 Grade 12 bore 30” barrels o/u ¼ and ¾ Choke. Second hand £3950

100% and if your only round the corner you might very well go on line to the big shops before walking into any venders premises .

looks like he had a loyal following of customers over many years, likely in these difficult times for the industry he has decided enough is enough and to retire. If business was vibrant then he would be trying to sell the business as a going concern yet it looks like none of the gun shops that have closed over the last few years have done that, tells its own story.

Under £4k for a hand made in Belgium shotgun? That seems cheap not optimistic! Depending of condition of course.

B25 is a lovely thing, nice slim action and very reliable. Bit weird how the fore end slides forward rather than coming off.
