Kalix CR2 comb raiser.

Hi.
My CR2 comb raiser is very stiff to twist and adjust. It feels like the spring is very stiff and requires both hands and a bit of force.
Does anyone have this problem, or know if I can adjust it?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine never had a spring. If yours is the same as mine it may just be an alignment issue?

Hmm. Mine feels like it's sprung when I twist it to pull up. Then when I get it to the right height and let go it springs into place.
I had it done by Mike Rainback and it was like that from new.
I've got Arthritis in the thumbs so wondered if they're adjustable, or even if I can dis-assemble it myself..

Mine's always been pretty smooth in all fairness so doesn't sound right
