Kammowear, Kammo

Are they the same? Recently picked up a Kammowear jacket, design, materials and construction are identical to my original Kammo (Truman Neilson era), possibly a cheaper line, certainly better quality than the recent kammo kit. Just interested

I rang a company called CadetDirect a few months ago, as they had some Kammo jackets for sale. I got the impression that these were new old stock from the last producer of this brand.

I mainly range about the jacket they call Kodiak - as the Kodiak I wanted to replace was basically a winter version of the Winchester (with polyester fleece lining in the handwarmers and half-lining in the body). Their Kodiak seems not to be that, though.

I have both old and recent Kammo, the new stuff is poor quality and doesn't age well, a friend had one and the colour was faded within months (and we don't have excess sunshine in Northumberland), older jacket get reproofed when needed and although doesn't look new, it still looks serviceable, this Kammowear is leaning towards the older jacket in terms of material and quality

I had an original kammo coat. I must have worn it for around 15 years constantly for hunting. It were different. Luckily I've still got two new ones. I've the green one that I use now. And also have the newer green camo version.
