Kennel disinfectants

What are people useing for a run cleaner disinfectant. The stuff I use doesn't work too well on the smell.thanks

Aldi bleach, let dogs out, hose down run, bleach poured, scrub with broom, take dogs on a long walk.

Exactly what I do also @Greenmist, although not aimed at the original poster I do tend to feel people like to complicate matters.

50p bottle of bleach and hot water then get scrubbing..

Always used Virkon in my kennels. Same stuff used for Foot and mouth clean up. Used it as a mist spray in brooder houses as well.

I have the runs tiled, just usually powerhouse them but about once a month after washing use Jeyes Fluid or Milton and then wash again.

My father always used Jeyes fluid diluted as per the maker's instructions on the slabbed part of the kennel. Do it early in the morning on a fresh day and the smell is gone by midday.

Bleach, kills pretty much everything and comes in different scents, which all smell of bleach so a bit pointless. It's cheap and it works
