Kent Range?

I have looked online with no good results. Does anyone know of a range to use (Pay As you go preferably) for centre fire rifles aswell as the hmr? Only out to 100 or so yards would be fine.

Been to Bisley but a bit of a drive for me and looking for a more local alternative.

I think you will struggle to find anything without joining a club that uses the mod ranges at lydd and hythe.

Looked for a club but nothing seems to be well advertised! 😕 Any advice on where to look is much appreciated!

I will ask the guys i shoot at the range with if they are accepting applications for new members.

I take it you don't currently have range use conditioned on your certificate?

I don't no. I have an 'open ticket' though so would suggest that doesn't matter? I have use all my rifles over at Bisley through BASC members days.

Just re-read your post. Would appreciate you asking for me too. Thank you.

Paddock wood?
The Paddock wood range is on the right just before the driveway into the West Kent Shooting ground.

Quite a few Clubs in Kent, Deal Rifle Club frequently use the Hythe ranges, Faversham Club have their own range out to 100mtrs.

i believe their is a 22lr range at Rochester that also have range time at hythe, i’m a member of Ashford and district they have a indoor and outdoor 22 rimmy range and use the military Ranges as well
not sure if the sittingbourne club is still buoyant for 22LR

Deal is a good club stopped going there due to lock down it as a 25m indoors range.
Will have a drive down in summer months to see them again fees are very low,

For me it was a 145 mile round trip every week so found a nearer club in Sidcup area.

Did not know ashford existed before your add and how much is membership per year and how to become a member.
What distance do you shoot and caliber are you allowed

Bisley, the 2 military ranges hythe and Lydd , 25m indoor 22lr , 25m - 50m outdoor range in wrotham

Disciplines
Western, mini rifle , small bore , Center fire , service rifle comps all sorts of bits and bobs

If you Google the club you should find some information

I was once a member and had great fun plus exposure to some seriously interesting weaponry over the years. Sadly never to be repeated along with the no less interesting time spent on red flag “lookout” duties!
