Hi,
Has anyone sent a Kharles scope back to the manufacturer for repair via one of the local stockists? Just curious of peoples experiences of time scales, level of service & what sort of costs were experienced. Got a scope that doesn’t seem to keep zero.

Thanks in advance all.

Sent mine to the importers Cornwall Devon area service was good it was a old model one took about 4 weeks and was foc with brexit now you are better sending it to a agent in uk then they can deal with all the paperwork

Cheers, will print of the returns paperwork & drop it off at my local agent on Tuesday 😉👍🏼

I sent my Kahles K525i back 18 months ago direct to kahles. . Scope was 6 months old but I wanted some changes to my Recital.

From sending it off to getting back in my grubby little hands was 7 days …… I will say that again 7 days !

I even got a curtesy call to say work has been completed and is just I leaving the workshops today via UPS .

they even put a goodie bag in the parcel too with a hat and some sticker patch things and very nice thank you letter .

Some maybe surprised to know that Kahles is only a small company, they only have a small number of employees.
And yes they are under the Swarovski umbrella But still run very independently, all Swarovski did was buy out the competition, like it has done on a couple of other occasions over there years .
Both Swarovski and kahles are good as it gets and take there customer service very seriously.

Recently the elctronics on my Kahles RF 10x42 failed. I sent them directly to Kahles and got a reply within a few days only.
I had bought them three years ago so they were out of the 2-year warrenty on the electronics. They said they couldn't repair them but they gave me two options.
Either get a free replacement of the same model or receive the new model for a 100 EUR surcharge. I drew the second option.

Even though it's a pity they cannot repair them I feel that I'm being dealt with in a very fair manner. Thumbs up!

I am so pleased to see nothing but positive comments. I was unsure whether to just bin it over the weekend when we realised something was amiss. Sort of looking forward to the experience now, in some weird & sad’istic’ sort of way 😯

Can't fault their customer service.Stood on my lens covers for my 418TT scope, cracked the plastics.
Emailed Kahles received a new set in less than 5 days FOC👍

I’m not in the UK but had exactly the same issue and response from Kahles via their distributor here in SA. Expecting my replacement this week.
