After reading a lot of Very interesting articles on knives, My wife has a small selection of Openiel knives shown here.. My 30 year old daughter has sent a letter to Father Christmas asking for some handy kitchen knives.. If there are any elves who would like so suggest any other makes, please do, I will forward all suggestions onto FC..

Another vote for Victorinox - they make it a tough job to buy a bad knife - although the F Dick kitchen knives are also good, albeit more expensive.

I bought my wife some mid priced knives (Robert Welch, like the cutlery we were given 11 years ago) a few years ago. Tiny little handles fit her hands, her mother wants the same too even though she has the typical ‘proper’ kitchen knives, the ergonomics are just better.
