If it is qtr turn it will be ceramic valves and require high pressure. If you are on low pressure this will not work well.

Cheers didnt know that , we must be on high pressure as the current tap is qtr turn and works fine

No worries. Most people don't know but older properties are usually low pressure. If you have a mega flow or similar, then it should be fine.
