Knife making book recommendations

I'm not trying to do you knifemakers out there out of a job, just looking to try a new hobby. Also I'm not planning on installing a forge and gathering up old files or pinching vehicle leaf springs to reshape etc etc ....just general info.

For example, I'm a bit baffled by the number and type of securing pins for knife scales and also would like general info on making and securing grips / handles / guards etc...silver soldering ?.

Anyone recommend a good beginners book please?.

knifemaking by Robert Loveless and Wayne Goddards $50 knife are both worth a read. loads on You tube as well.
