I don't expect much of a response on here regarding air rifles but I'll tell you anyway.
May help someone.
I've had a little BSA ultra se for not even a year and it's brilliant except it only does 40 shots in 177. I soon run out on a good rat session.
So today a called in the shop to see what Duncan had and there was HW100's, a BSA r10 and an FX.
A bit steep for me so I asked what the other one on its own is. A Kral Puncher in 177.
I asked if they are any good to which I was informed that he had only sold one other and the chap is delighted with it!
So I asked if I could take it home to have a play and he gave it to me.
At home I got a scope on it, nipped around to a friend's to borrow a fitting for the filler and got it all together.
Of note is it's lower fill pressure over the BSA, 200bar to 230bar respectively!
First groups were bad but I realised the barrel had oil in it and needed leading, good old lead
.
Then it started to group until it was making ragged holes at near 30yds with pellets the BSA will not shoot! Including I jest not marksman pellets!
It looks like it's gonna give 70 plus shots or more. I don't know if it is regulated but there is no audible valve bounce like the BSA has!
Also it comes with a single shot tray although it's not fantastic and two 14 shot magazines unlike the BSA with just a single 10 shot magazine!
Just need to get it in the field.
Oh and pay up
