Kuiu PRO Bino Harness

I asked some questions regarding bino harnesses the other week and said I would post some images when the new harness arrived to assist others to make informed decisions.
First point, If you purchase from Kuiu all fees, VAT, import tax etc are included and if you log onto their site having removed all the Kuiu cookies you get a 15% off one item message flag up.
I bought the large Pro bino harness and split the cost with a mate who wanted one too, worked out at £117 each and delivered the following week (last week)
Cant fault the service or product :thumb:

So for size comparison the binos in the images are a set of Zeiss RF 10x42, harness is a Kuiu Pro Bino Harness, the Harness has the single slim pad fitted to bring it up to the top of the case, I have not used the 2 thicker pads due to the overall height with the eye cups up as in the images.
The fit is excellent with a small amount of room at the sides.
Colour is ash.

Bejewelled adornments!!! It’s one of the most drab, bling free products I use, is it just the price that offends you?
The Kuiu harness costs £40 more than the average protective harness but for me, and many others is the most comfortable and with diagnosed spondylitis, what I need and more importantly what I want.
It’s just a functional bino harness to keep bino’s close to the chest, protected and useable without the need for lens caps. Just saves them from being rolled in the mud or getting in the way.
I own nothing I would call bejewelled adornments but I do own and use quality, effective kit regardless of name or price.

Looks a well made and appointed bit of kit and should do what it says on the tin as per my FFH.

As with a sports bra they will control that annoying bounce & swing but at a cost.

After a month of use I felt I new what it was to be a women of generous bossom and required to cradle said appendages within a 'D' cup during warm & humid wheather.

They're a bit crap on customer service though. Ordered a regular bino harness and it arrived in super quick time, but £34 for the privilege. Only to find no rain cover or elastic strap to use the harness without the cover was included.

When I rang them they said it may have been a customer return that didn't have everything with it. Eh? Premium price for a used item, not checked and sent out again minus half the parts? Yeah, you get what you pay for with these guys for sure (and I've already let them know that). Shoddy.

It does surprise me the, often undeserved, kudos given to certain items by the stalking fraternity as opposed to others that are of equal, or sometimes better, quality.

The kuiu business model appears to be to come up with good, not brilliant, ideas and then have them made in the cheapest place possible. In the case of the bino harness, Vietnam. Once that is complete then charge your customer base the highest price possible whilst simultaneously offering woeful levels of customer service.

Let's hope none of you ever have any problems.

By way of comparison, investigate the Badlands bino harness, also US originated, in many ways it is a superior product, and it also costs a little less. It doesn't appear to have the same level of marketing however, which would explain in part the inexplicable popularity of kuiu's gear and the high price tag.

Believers in the Emperors new clothes, look away now.

Agree with a bino harness, useful to have on and keeps kit safe otherwise. I have the Sitka large version, got it as it zips up for transport/storage, but with magnetic clips for easy access when you need to be quiet. Only used it once though as I have the opposite problem to most people it seems, it's too big for my relatively small binos so isn't really being used unfortunately.

Don’t discount the Marsupial bino harness either. Gave my Kuiu Pro harness away to @fresh slots after trying the Marsupial and really can’t fault it. Just another option to consider.
