Kuiu returns ?

I think most people sell on rather than incur the costs of returns. Always a ready market for the kit over here - surprised they haven’t got an outlet or a link up with Brownells perhaps.

The address they will provide you with for returns from here is in the UK and you can choose your own carrier or method of posting. They confirm arrival and have always been fast on refunds for me.

The only problem I ever had was one order that was returned to the US from the UK by their agent before I had even received it! I only discovered this when the refund appeared in my account. On investigation, it seems somebody at their UK agent had intercepted and returned the incoming order in mistake for a different one that I was sending back. On the whole, though, they are very efficient. I get stuff from them faster than from most European outlets.

Done it several times. They email you a label and they have a UK returns address.
Not any more as wyton has just posted it’s at your own cost for international post
And Ive just had email of them telling me the same thing

Ah, my last return was in December. I note that that in Point 3 they specifically refer to a "regional return centre", and we certainly had one in the UK, which I have used. I can only presume they have changed the system. Pity!

Sod’s Law 🤦‍♂️🤣
Hang on a minute, might be good news. Just had this from Kuiu:

Thank you for reaching out. Our returns process has not changed from what you have done in the past. Your previous orders show you have placed them on our international site using E Shop. We utilize E Shop for our international orders, as they help us provide quicker shipping, accurate tracking, and they also help us navigate global returns in a timely manner.

The person you spoke to may not have placed their order on the international site using E Shop.
Orders that are placed on the US site ( and paid is USD) and shipped internationally do have to be mailed back to the US for the return to be processed.

Have you been accessing Kuiu through the Kuiu UK portal, or via the US site? You need to go via the UK version. The returns centre for the UK is in West Byfleet, I seem to recall.

Final email from Kuiu in response to my query (they are good at customer service):

(Me) Thanks. So, just to confirm, UK returns go back to the UK returns centre (in West Byfleet, I seem to recall) and not to the US?

(
Kuiu) Correct. So long as when you place the order it is showing the price in the correct currency (GBP) and it shows the correct flag in the upper right hand corner, the returns get mailed to the address in the UK that will be provided in your email when you initiate the return.

Only caveat is if the order is placed on the US site, which will show the pricing in US dollars and the US flag in the upper right hand corner. Those returns have to be mailed back to the US for the return to be processed.

If you continue to place orders the way you have in the past, your return process will have you mail items to a UK E-Shop warehouse to process the return. I can't guarantee that it will always be the West Byfleet warehouse, as E-shop has several, but it usually has you send to the one closest to your current location
