Labrador needs help

Again, any prick can buy a puppy and then do what they like to it. Not a big fan of unnecessary licensing...but in some cases...

Sadly, as with children that 7 months might have been so damaging as to be irreversible. I hope the dog gets saved...almost never thr animal/almost always the idiot human at the wheel.

I took on a cocker 3 months or so ago.Same kind of scenario, bought during covid as a ' therapy dog' to keep a person with ' issues' company.
Never been out her flat, not been introduced to other dogs or stock and after 10 month of been treated as an equal it decided to assert his dominance over his clueless owner. In short it bit her.
Long story short I said I'd give him a chance, he's a cracking little thing now would have been a tragedy for him to be put down due to his owners shortcomings.
There's a lot of dogs in that age group , a year or so,that are ruined due to buyers and for that matter breeders not doing any homework.IMG-20220401-WA0002.webpIMG-20220408-WA0001.webp

Lovely dog...well done mate! 👍

Never known a Lab that didn’t come good, that’s after rescue labs for the last 30+ years.

Asked SWMBO about this pup and she said two dogs was enough. 😒

Not my saying. A good few years ago dog breeders/ trainers said, nobody gets rid of a good dog and nobody buys a bad dog. A dog is just not for Christmas / lockdown or before the kids arrive. I genuinely feel sorry for the dog,

Io be honest labs are amazing dogs just for that fact.
Amazing how much u can f@ck up ur training when u don't know any better and still bring the dog round when shown the right way.
Not many other breeds u can get away with it as much as with a lab.

I always mind sitting in a shoot howf with a well known trainer/breeder as the whiskey started to flow, he got on about his 1st FTCH the local vet phoned asked if he wanted this lab that was in to get PTS, similar reasons nothing major.
And he made it up into a FTCH, that would be a long time ago now

This is Rusty. One of my current two. We took him at five years old, never worked, problem dog. Not picking up everything, can’t do enough for you and one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning
