I'm sure you recall the thread that I put up in December (see below).

Well, it would appear that the fella has finally come to his senses and listened to what I had to say and is now asking a sensible price!

As detailed below for sale at £1875.


Ladies & Gents,

One of my customers has unfortunately lost his FAC & SGC and has asked me to sell his LANTAC. I have spoken with the guys at LANTAC and they have told me that it has a build date of 2021.

I have asked the chap to provide me with a description and selling price to go with this ad, so please don't shoot the messenger...these are his words and not mine:

Hello all! This is my Lantac Raven 223/5.56 straight pull. She also comes with a dragon break and moderator which both have a 2 year waiting list from the states and are a well sort after gun. Its had 8 rounds through it from new.
Also comes with a high power long range scope which was £1500 at the time of purchase which its never been fired with it on. Comes with original box and 1 mag as police lost the other. I'm gutted to see it go but you won't find another like it. Not in this condition £2500 scope included. Can have heavy duty guitar guncase with it for extra £100

It’s not my rifle. I’m selling it for a guy that’s just lost his ticket. So far, he’s being very stubborn about how much he wants for it. I can WhatsApp him with an offer for just the gun and mod if you like? Lee.

Hi Lee, thanks for the response, i would be interested in what he would sell just the rifle for, the scope is not needed or the Mod really but appreciate he is fixed on the price, i know were around £2100 for the 2021 model brand new but Lantac has released the new ONYX lower version for not much more money which is nicer, I own a few Lantac rifles and only wait 2 months for one usually, Maybe because i own a few, I think if he realistically wants to sell it he would have to drop the price even with the scope, i have seen these advertised around £1500 on guntrader and have sold for less, admittedly just the rifle with no mod or scope included. I think the lack of interest probably confirms what I am saying but i may be wrong and if he wants £2500 then i wish him all the best trying to sell it.

A spec/model of the scope might helpif he can remember it as Riton Optics range from £200-£2000. If its a higher end model it may help peak someone's interest.

3-24x56 model, which is one of their higher end models.
So £2.5k seems like a good deal for a complete outfit for an as new set up.

Even if you are trying to offer constructive criticism you are running the price down, not your place to do so, if you want to give helpful pointers in the future……

It’s just frustrating to see it on people’s threads. If people need to point potential price issues just do it via PM.

Even if you are trying to offer constructive criticism you are running the price down, not your place to do so, if you want to give helpful pointers in the future……

Sorry no heckling intended here, and no offence intended at all either, i just wanted to ask for a price excluding the scope and Mod, seemed like a fair question, sorry if it offended you somehow, I even wished him all the best with the price his customer was asking for but thanks for your input and I know for future reference

Absolutely the seller’s prerogative,
