Lapua scenar through a 6.5x55.......

Looking to have some longer range gong bashing with my Sauer in 6.5x55 and with the .308 barrel too.

I've done some loads via XXL reloading for 123 grain Lapua Scenar; and also then checked data regarding pressures via P-Max too so have some starting and potential end points for ladder tests with my different powders.

Not looking for anyone to work up load for me via Quickload/GRT; but if you have any existing load data for calibre/bullet combo would be great to read about it.......or indeed anything about .308 with 155 gr Lapua Scenar-L

I have used 123gr Scenars in 6.5x55 Sauer 202 loaded in RWS cases with 48-49 grains N560. Good accuracy but only tested 100-200yds. Not full powder burn but not terrible in a 24” barrel. I use 139gr Scenar for longer range with a similar loads. N555 is a better powder if you can get it. I used the Viht app and PMax to work up these loads.

i use the 155gr lapua scenar in my 308 and they are excellent out to 900 yards BUT i tried the scenar -l and could not get it to work at 100 yards .i was using n140 powder for both loads . my rifle has a 1 in 10 twist not sure if the lapua scenar-l needs a slower twist rate .
