We have had the opportunity to get some extra permits for both Cantabrian and Pyrenean chamois. If anyone is interested in the most beautiful mountain hunting that can be done in Spain, do not hesitate to write to us. Here I leave you some nice photos we took from these days ago, we have been locating chamois and going up to the hunting grounds to have everything under control and ready for the reopening of the season.

Please can you write an article on how Chamois are managed in Spain, especially on private land. And how the licencing system works. Not wishing to interrupt this thread.

Roughly what sort of money are we looking at to hunt a Chamois in Spain.

I will write the article! for the price very approximately around 3.000€ This can vary up or down depending on trophy size and subspecies (cantabrian or pyrenees).

Is that €3,000 just for the licence or is that inclusive of the guiding etc. If it does then that is pretty reasonable! I will start saving.
I'm sorry to tell you that that is the kill rate. But the daily rate is not excessively expensive (around 200/300) and includes absolutely everything (accommodation, meals, snacks, transportation, hunting guide, pick-up and drop-off from the airport...) the only thing it does not include are the flights, taxidermy and the tip ( not being this mandatory).
