Just wondering if anyone on here has either of the above and can share their views. Not necessarily for stalking, just in general optical and build quality.

Trying to work out if Swarovskis offering is worth the extra £400…

I have used both but not directly side by side in a short space of time. They are both good binoculars. Only you can tell which are better for you, your eyes and hands.

As above, both are good, but for me the Swaro’s are a little bit better due to the lens coating and colour balance.
Swaro coatings seem to emphasise brown tones, birds and animals”pop” from the background more than with some other brands
I also think that they provide slightly better definition, but maybe that’s just me.
Have a look at the 8x32EL’s, they’re probably all the binocular you’ll ever need, but if you’re stuck on 10x they do those too.

I've got the Swarovski CL 8x30 and can't fault them. The 10x magnification might be too much if you do a lot of woodland stalking though.
