If your set on a 6x42 I’d buy eigher a Swarovski or Schmidt & Bender as you have a better back up regarding service and you can buy a S&B 6x42 scope brand new still, Swarovski 6x42 is discontinued but you can still buy them and they are still covered by there warrantee

I’ve had/have several Leupold scope sights with friction adjusters. As takbok says, infinitely adjustable. Once set leave it.
Waste of time for anyone wanting to twiddle turrets for different ranges.
