Lightweight Boots

Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?
I am after a set of lightweight, flexible waterproof low-mid height boots.
I want something that has a flexible sole.
I have looked at most brands, but this combination doesn't seem to exist.
Any recomendations please.

I wear these in summer when heavy dew in mornings. Good flexible sole

Hey these I have found to be brilliant.

I use them for work every day. Im a Plumber so need something that's lightweight but robust enough for building sites.
Yes I know its not steal capped but then Im not doing new builds or bug sites where PPE is required.
As a stalking boot for summer there excellent spray them with a bit of this.

Fabsil Universal Protector Water-Repellent Spray 400ml - Screwfix

Which more than helps with wet grass etc.
But for navigating dry twigs leaves etc there brilliant. You can feel the ground before you place your foot so an excellent stalking boot IMO

Not Such a great winter boot I have some Crispi that I run for that job similar to these for the winter wet.

Hope this helps.

The Viking Dryboot, now reincarnated as the Harris Dryboot seems to meet your criteria;

These are good for summer, dewy morning but not wet enough for wellies. Wear these on the rearing field, high enough to keep feet dry but not high. With gaiters good for moving about in long grass or across tramlines when after bucks in summer.
Just watch out when the tread is getting low, descending muddy banks can lead to much hilarity from onlookers 😂.

I don't think that type of boot exists as having had top end dry suits water gets in past the best seals.
you cant help getting in water in the winter, I won't wear wellies (god knows why people do) for stalking or foxing as 99% don't do the zips up.
You can have the most expensive pair of boots and still go in a tramline of water over you boot so I use cheaper boot that walks well. Chip got hung up in brambles by one ear in a half full ditch so I just waded in, go my boy free and had wet feet...
Hi Tec come in 1/2 sizes.

Have used Aigle boots - both medium height and calf length - for a while now. Not as easy to find, but light weight and waterproof. Not expensive and a bit wider than some which suit my feet, decent insoles as well.

Ive used the Viking boot quite a bit, the only downside was the narrow foot, wearing a thick sock can pinch your foot up, might try the harris to see if they are a bit wider, i liked wearing mine with gaiters they worked a treat

Aku has a really decent range.

I like these as they have a good aggressive sole, but you can still feel twigs.

Or the Vivo Tracker Forest. Good grip and almost like a pair of moccasins. As waterproof as you want by adding wax.

have A look at the Chiruca range (Deporvillage seem the cheapest supplier) I’ve got a pair of the Ares which I use for spring/summer. Really comfy, flexy sole and waterproof, the boa system is good too.
