Lightweight tall lace up boots?

I'm after some tall 12" or lace up boots, I've fed up with flappy non breathable wellies with big soles.

I wear exclusively barefoot shoes normally, so I'm after something lightweight with at least a semi-flexible sole.

The nearest looking thing is the dog boots from Harkilla, but even they seem overkill.

Any other thoughts?

It's like some people don't even read the question.

As far as I know Harkila are the only brand who do a 12" boot. I had the driven hunt gtx model, which were very comfortable and pretty light, but also had good feel to the sole for a boot of this type. Unfortunately the quality of the components is very cheap for the money paid. I did a mini review of them on the forum. Other boots in the 10/11" category I think you will find to be very stiff soled and quite heavy.

Hi I would buy one of the USA snake boots. Mine are Cabelas. Very light, both my boots weight less than any Harkila, different lengths mine are 16", completely waterproof same as a welly, great ankle support etc- oh and if you happen upon a rattler, you will be safe LOL.

A m8 has a pair of lace up Pro Hunters he got on flebay and says they're the dogs bits. They cost around £80 he tells me.

Thanks all so far 10 or 11" would be fine too. Almost want a pair of mukluks, but they need to be easily washable!
