Wanted: Looking for shooting buddy (North West)

Hey guys.

I’m interested to connect with other shooters around my area who fancy going out together. I’m based in Marple, south Manchester, just on the edge of the Peak District.

I mainly shoot air rifles, and have about 600 acres of farmland permissions and a couple of Golf Courses. Ratting, magpies, pigeons, crows and rabbits. Lots of foxes too and occasional Roe deer. Anyone who would shoot with me would have access to these areas as my permissions include ‘and guest’ and can shoot what they like, presuming they have an open cert.

I don’t currently hold tickets, although I have done in the past and have extensive experience with shotguns, rimfire and centerfire. I even worked as a hunting guide in New Zealand about 7 years ago - I have lots of stories to tell!

You’d need to be fully insured and have a good sense of humour!

Hi mate, very generous offer and something I was once searching for for a very long time indeed. I now have two young kids (youngest is 4 months) so I'm not yet in a routine that let's me get out or commute far (I'm about 2hrs away in North Leeds) but your offer is very much appreciated.

I have family in Heaton Moor, which is just down the road from you and I live less than an hour away. If you get stuck I’ll happily come out with you and go through licensing, referees etc. Running the little syndicate means I do quite a few letters of this sort. PM me if of interest. I have insurance open ticket and rifles from .22LR, .17HMR, .22WMR, .223REM, to .270WIN and .308WIN.

If your ever down my way give me a bell. I have everything sorted to get my tickets back once I want to, just in no rush. I used to have quite a few centerfire rifles. Shot a .270 when I worked in NZ, loved it. Also .300 WM
