Well, good old Dipper will be 14 as the next season approaches.
Still pretty sound but being a small Lab and not greedy has helped.
Eyes, hearing and attention going though ( sounds familiar
).He will tag along on the easy pegs but nothing approaching semi serious work.
So I am on the lookout for a similar type. Part trained small Lab up to 2yo. Has to be peg dog and part time picker up. SWMBO refers to my picking days as “going to interfere” . Has to be good with other dogs and preferably be able to double bunk. Could live in or out.
Dipper came from big working kennels where he was not making the grade for trials potential. Not an alpha dog at all. Has done me very well. We offer a loving country home with retired couple, Dipper and a whippet waiting for a new family member.
Would consider re homing something a little older.
Happy to pay sensible money and wait for the right one, it could be my last !
If anybody out there hears of anything please let me know.
