Does anyone use a Golf LRF for deer stalking?
in the description i have of one i look at it is aimed at aiding the golfer in regard to flag location, but deemed to be extremely acurate with a range up to 1000m.

at under £150 i was just curious to see if anyone else has or has used similar.
ideally a Thermal with built in LRF would be good and is the norm now. but my family finances dont stretch that far yet 😂

Yep - on my second one now - £80 (up to 1000 m) and accuracy is spot on - according to my Zulus.

PS
They don’t improve your golf and my first one, just like my heart, is in Perthshire - up a sodding glen, somehwere….

Yep, had a Bushnell one myself for about seven years. Dose a great job on deer, foxes, rabbits etc. Only changed the battery once in all that time too. Must admit though, it gets used less when you have a range finding device built in.

Until I got thermal and binos with LRF I used a cheap golf lrf from Temu and I still keep it for range set up and stuff and it works perfectly

I loved that is was a knock-off Chinese brand named

AoFar
(Say it out loud)

Which made me smile
