Wanted: Lundhags Boot Grease/Wax

I have a pair of Lundhags boots on the way and have been trying to find a tin of the Lundhags wax or grease that the company recommends for use on their boots.
Does anyone know where to get some or has an old tin gathering dust? All the online providers I have explored won’t ship to the UK anymore.

Thanks!

You could use Danner dressing as an alternative, but I suspect this will be as difficult to source in the UK as the Lundhag product.

Mink Oil was the generic product I was struggling to recall the name of. Well done DS.308!

All theirs will do is the same, which is plug the stitching holes, mink oil will do the same, you won’t get wet feet, they’re great boots, I wouldn’t over thinking it, the only thing I would say is keep the rubber clean and periodically apply silicone spray to it, mine did really well but eventually the toe caps started to perish, but I’ve never got wet feet wearing them.

Harkila mink oil is ok but it’s mostly bulked out with cheap silicone which has no real long lasting effect, it’s made by tarrago I think they are called, there are far better alternatives out there, leather loses its fat in the tanning process and the best thing bar none is animal fat to restore it!

I must have 100 plus waxes in the cupboard from blogging about it in the past and fat bear leather care is brilliant stuff, actually made from bear fat! The black one has tar in it like Lundhags wax, arguably better tbh.

As a locally sourced alternative 5 star leather care is ok as well and made in the UK by an independent retailer so ethically sound,

I have some Lundhags wax somewhere if you’re stuck but I’m abroad for three weeks.

Good luck. I ended up going to Stockholm to satisfy my Lundhag needs, and got properly measured in the Lundhag store there.

The Lundhag grease smells amazing. You could try Altberg leather grease as an alternative. Similar product.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I went with what @johnnytheboy suggested and got some grease from Fat Bear Leather Care. Gave them a thorough treatment today and will continue until it stops soaking in so quickly.
