Magpie call

Does anyone know of a call available for magpies? If so does it work? I can't find anything other than taped electronic version's.

I've got one of the original mini colibri calls from MM Sporting that I've had for year's.

They've just released a new version called the mini fox caller. It's not cheap but has a great selection of calls on it.
This will drag magpies in from half a mile.

Half a dozen 1/4” or so steel bearings in a plastic box (e.g. .22 or .17hmr) shook vigorously works - then you shoot them with what were the contents of said box. It doesn’t work with lambs though….

I know this is correct, but can't for the life of me see why? What was the reasoning behind this?
Likely an outdated law or badly written one, doubtful anyone would put their head above the parapet to change it either, not just calls, I remember many years ago, someone was using a battery operated disco ball to bring them in, quite successfully I might add, I think it was the NGO who pointed out, that too was illegal

Calling might not be the answer, regular baiting may prove more effective, a pizza box or kfc packaging with scraps in should mimic their preferred food source, obviously litter responsibly and peg down while shooting and remove afterwards, or get a larson trap

It was felt that using recordings gave too much of an advantage to the hunter.
Think game call rather vermin.
Several ducks owe their life to the fact that I blew myself into blurred tunnel vision and couldn’t focus when the time came to shoot.
