Does anyone know of a call available for magpies? If so does it work? I can't find anything other than taped electronic version's.
IIRC you can't call birds in to shoot with an electronic callerI've got one of the original mini colibri calls from MM Sporting that I've had for year's.
They've just released a new version called the mini fox caller. It's not cheap but has a great selection of calls on it.
This will drag magpies in from half a mile.
I didn't say I was shooting them!IIRC you can't call birds in to shoot with an electronic caller
From how far does the lighter pull them in mate?Never tried it tho as I use a lighter.
I know this is correct, but can't for the life of me see why? What was the reasoning behind this?IIRC you can't call birds in to shoot with an electronic caller
Likely an outdated law or badly written one, doubtful anyone would put their head above the parapet to change it either, not just calls, I remember many years ago, someone was using a battery operated disco ball to bring them in, quite successfully I might add, I think it was the NGO who pointed out, that too was illegalI know this is correct, but can't for the life of me see why? What was the reasoning behind this?
It was felt that using recordings gave too much of an advantage to the hunter.I know this is correct, but can't for the life of me see why? What was the reasoning behind this?
Hello, A few air rifle pellets in a 35mm film cannister is what i useCan confirm ball bearings rattled in a box works; they do get wise to it eventually though!
